Introduction

Dictionary App Builder is a tool that takes your dictionary data and publishes it as an app for Android or iPhone. There are two different input formats that it takes:

• LIFT (Lexical Interchange FormaT)
• XHTML format as exported from SIL's FieldWorks software

LIFT

LIFT — LIFT (Lexicon Interchange FormaT) is an XML format for lexical information (dictionaries). LIFT allows lexical data transfer between programs such as WeSay, FLEx and Lexique Pro.
